1. Creating the Supplier Evaluation Plan

Please Note:  The Supplier Evaluation Plan is created from a Supplier Profile, not from the "New" Button.

1.1. Open the Supplier Profile

  • Navigate to "Approved Supplier Profiles" located in the "Supplier Information" section of the main menu and select the desired Supplier account.

2. Special Actions Menu

  • From the 'Special Actions' menu  on the left side of the page select Supplier Evaluations
  • Select 'Create Special Action' on the next page to create the Supplier Evaluation Plan
  1. Select an organization where this evaluation plan will belong (this will typically be the facility where you work)
  2. Select document type as shown above (Should be the default)
  3. Select document layout as shown above (Should be the default)
  4. Click the forward chevron to proceed

3. Evaluation Plan

  • Give the plan a Title.

It's a good idea to include the frequency of the evaluation  and name of the Supplier in the Title of the plan such as "Sharp Metals Quarterly Evaluation"

  • Select the appropriate Business Unit and Supplier Type(s) by clicking on the blue underlined topic headers
  • Select a priority level for this plan and manually set the start and completion date using the calendar.
  • This 'Reevaluation setting' allows you to create another evaluation prior to closure of the current one. Check the button to enable this option.
  • Enter a description for this suppliers evaluation plan. Perhaps describe what type of scorecard, scoring system and frequency etc.
  • You can attach relevant files using the 'Attach File' button and use the 'Manage File Attachments' to remove or reorder any existing attachments.  You can also use the 'Associated Items' button to add documents or profiles from this or numerous other Cpro modules such as document control or other Profiles.
  • You can add product or raw material profiles, if they are in the Cpro system, by using the 'Manage Hosted Data' button in the Master Data section
  • You can cc others in the organization by looking up their names from the Cpro Directory and adding them to this field using the Chevron.

At the bottom of the form you can "Save", "Save and Close" or" Submit for Acceptance". If you just hit "Close" then you will lose any information you added since the last time this document was created or last saved.

  • Choose 'Submit for Acceptance when ready to accept the plan.  (Otherwise click "Save" or "Save and Close" to save your work and continue later)
  • The Plan is now 'In Process'.

THIS IS THE END OF CREATING A SUPPLIER EVALUATION PLAN.
