From the Containment response you can link back to the Request which is where you need to be to create a resolution response

In the request you will see both a link to the containment and also a button for creating the 'Resolution Response'.

As with the Containment Response, the due date may at this stage be amended.

Complete the root cause and contributing Factors statements and then detail the root cause and contribution(s)

Enter in the box provided, statements of permanent corrective actions and the contribution levels for each

In the box provided, enter details of how the permanent corrective action was validated

In the box provided, detail all actions taken to prevent recurrence of this problem

Even if you have not chosen to follow the 8D method you can still use the 8D stationary provided. When you fill in these forms you will have to save locally and reattach using the 'Attach File' button

You can finally create hosted data, manage any associated items such as linking to documents in other modules, add recipients and when ready 'Complete Response'.

From the CAR Request document you will now be able to see links to both containment and resolution.
