Step 3 - Create a Trainee Profile

Create New Profile Name

Create New Profile Name

From the NEW button, select the relevant org and Trainee Profiles doc class and type

Select Trainee Profile Name

Select Trainee Profile Name

Use the Chevron to open the Directory to search for the employee name. If the employee you are searching for does not have an email address and is therefore not in the Directory you can manually enter the information

Profile Management

Entering Trainee details

Enter the trainee's manager and state whether they are an employee or non employee and if required, enter their hire date. You can also assign this trainee a different admin role

Add Department(s)

Add Department(s)

Enter the relevant department(s) from the boxes and chevron when finished

Employee Type

Set Employee Type

Make a choice for employee type and hit Chevron

Manager Yes/No

Manager Yes/No

Select if this trainee is a manager or not and hit Chevron  This is for search purposes

Job Title

Attchments

Enter a job title for the employee

Job Description

Enter details about the employees job. Use as necessary the editor tools to change font size, color, underline, insert table etc.

Attachments

Add Qualification Definitions

Use the 'Attach File' button to browse and add files.  The 'Manage File Attachments' button will allow you to remove existing attachments. When complete, hit the 'Save' button. If you hit 'Close' before choosing 'Save' then you will lose the record.

Saved Record

Add Qualification Definitions

Once the document is saved and in read mode the employee status is 'Fully Qualified'. This is because there are no courses or qualifications assigned yet to this employee. Once saved you will see other options (hi-lighted in blue) to edit, update qualification, update access and archive.
