Updating Multiple User Profiles Simultaneously

Open User Profiles in the Administration Menu

2. Click "Import User(s)"

3. Existing User Handling

Select the Appropriate Option from the List

  1. Add: Adds the selected allowances and roles to the user profile
  2. Replace: Removes Everything from the user profile and replaces with the selected allowances and roles
  3. Make No Changes:  Will create new user profiles for selected users with the selected allowances and roles, but makes No Changes to the user profile if it already exists.

4. Search for Users

  1. Search for Users by First or Last Name
  2. Double Click a User Name from the Search Results Box to add it to the box on the right.
  3. The right box contains the names of all users to be modified.

5. Organization Selection

  1. Click on "Organizations" on the left hand side.
  2. Click the "Add Organization" button

Click the down arrow to reveal the Organization drop down list.

Select an Organization from the list

8. Confirm Your Selection

Click the Chevron when you have made a selection

9. Adding Allowances and Roles Within the Selected Organization

  1. Note that the Organization Name has been added to the left hand Navigation Bar
  2. Assign Allowances Here
  3. Assign Functional Roles Here
  4. Assign Administrative Roles Here (Note:  You will very rarely be doing a mass update for Admin Roles)

10. Make Your Selections and Execute Import

  1. Double Click or use the arrow buttons to add Allowances and Roles to the Boxes on the Right
  2. Click Execute Import to Update All of the Selected User Accounts.

Note:  You may repeat steps 5-9 to add more organizations (with their own allowances and roles) to the selected user profiles prior to clicking "Execute Import" if desired
