Create New Document

A new Document can be initiated from a 'NEW' button, wherever you see one.

Accessing 'Document Control'.

From the Navigation bar you can select 'Document Control' to find a view to show all documents currently in the system for the selected Org you are in.

Select Appropriate Document Types

Select Appropriate Document Types

Document Type view allows you to choose from the various document types in the system. Click the item to select.

Change Owners & Readers

Change Owners & Readers

Change Owners and Readers allows you to change owner for the document selected and also add readers if they are no already subscribed to this document.

Request Change

Request Change

This option allows you to create a change request document and assign it to the author/manager

Make Copy

Make Copy

This option allows you to make a copy if this document if all of the detail contained within is similar. The new copy will not have the same number and will not be an approved document.

Subscribe

Subscribe

The Subscribe option allows Doc Class Administrators to subscribe documents from another organization and publish them in their own organization. The document then becomes visible in Released Documents in those organizations who have subscribed

Complete Audit Review

Complete Audit Review

The Complete Audit Review option allows an audit to be registered against this document at any time, confirming this version is still ok to be used.

Print Preview

The print preview allows you to see what the document will look like when printed.

Document Explorer

Document Explorer

This option shows programming information and is only for administration purposes to see the code

Indices

Indices

Indices option gives a brief overview of some key information regarding the document you have open and is generally for admin use only.

Close

Close

The close button will close the document. If you hit close without first saving then all changes will be lost.
