Create a PPAP Profile

Enter the organisation where the profile needs to belong, then select document class APQP/PPAP. Chevron to create

Enter a title for the profile. This can typically be the subject of the PPAP such as the product

You can add an internal contact person using the Directory lookup and add additional location information

Add the categories relevant to the corresponding APQP to which this PPAP relates.

In the Hosted Customer Profiles Master Data you can add a customer name using 'Manage Hosted Data' button. This will allow you to search Cpro for the customer profile in any org

Select the org and search for the customer profile

Once the customer(s) have been found, put a check mark against the customer(s) and click on 'Add Selected Data' to pick them

Once added, click the chevron to put them into the PPAP profile

The customer profile is now in as a link. The PPAP is now associated with a customer for future reference and reporting

Using 'Associated Items' you can link other documents from Cpro such as APQP's, procedures etc

The Reason for Change table is used when the document is changed and goes up a revision. You can enter the section affected and give details of the change made to the document(s)

Use the notification Recipients to add people from the Cpro Directory who will be copied when this PPAP is processed

You can either Save, Save and close or Approve the profile

To approve, choose an allowance and choose confirm. The author of the profile is by default the expediter so just enter your Cpro password

The profile is now complete and ready to be used to generate a PPAP set of documents. See 'Create PPAP Request'.
