Create a Process Change Request

Create New

You can create a new request from anywhere you see the new button.  You don't have to be in the Process Change module

Select the criteria for this change request. 1) Select the site who will be responsible for this request. Click on >>> when ready to proceed

Change Request Title

Add a title for this request.  Keep it short but descriptive so you can recognize it amongst many other request titles. If this request will need to be checked for effectiveness you should check the effectiveness box

Change Request Responsibility

Click on >>>to select the person you need to send this request to. If you don't see the name you require then contact your Cpro administrator

Click on the name you require (1) then click on Add Selected (3). If there are more than 6 eligible names for expediters then you can expand the list by clicking the entries dropdown and increasing the number of names to search (2). Click >>> when a name has been selected and added.

Search Categories

Click on the blue underlined topics to select relevant categories

Make selection(s) and click >>> to select. If you still see a blue underlined category then it means there is another possible choice to make.

Priority & Schedule

Based on the date you select here, emails will be triggered when this date draws near and then passes. The date entered should reflect when this change request needs to be completed. The priority code is a guide. You can change the actual date using the calendar button

Change Detail

Detail the reason for change. Take care if it is intended to share this information with the customer with a Process Change Notification letter

Implementation Date

Use the calendar button to select a date when the proposed change is to be implemented

Describe the impact the proposed change will have on product, process and customer

Products Affected

Detail the product(s) affected. If entering multiple item numbers, put a comma and space between each one.

Temporary or Permanent Change

Choose as appropriate. If it is a temporary change, enter a date when it will come to an end.

Customer Notification

Specify if the customer rwquires notification and then detail the customer(s) and location of each

Attachments

Use the 'Attach File' button to add files. The 'Manage File Attachments' is used for removing attached files

Hosted Customer Profiles

You can add profiles of customers which are in the approved customer profiles of Cpro. Contact your Cpro administrator if you cannot find the customer(s) you are searching for.

Select the site where the customer name belongs (1) and click on the customer profiles link to reveal all of the listed customers under that site (2).

Once the customer(s) have been selected relevant to this change, click on 'Add Selected Data'

Click >>> to add the profile(s) to the request form

The profile(s) is/are now in the request form

Notification List

Click on >>> to select people to add to the cc list who will be copied when this request is sent

Choose names one by one and double click to move to the right side

Read Restriction

You can restrict who sees this particular request by checking the box. You will then add only the names of the individuals who can see the content of this request

Submission of the Request

Once the information is complete you caan Save, Save and Close or Submit for Acceptance. Only 'Submit for Acceptance' will actually send this request to the chosen expediter.

Customer Notification (PCN)

To create a PCN, open the request and click on the available worksheet form called Process Change Notification

Open or save the file

The form will open and will have pulled in the information from the request and, if populated, the response too.

If required, you can edit the necessary fields before sending to the customer.
