Admin Utility to Change Organization etc

Implicit Utility (Moving all records in found search)

Select the new button from anywhere in CPro and select the Org where the items are you want to process, select 'Admin Utilities' doc class and the utility you require. Hit chevron

Give your Utility action a unique title. Overwrite what is there by CPro

Utilities are set to Requester as the expediter. Set a priority label and date for this utility

The org you are in will show in (1), then enter the org you want to transfer items to in (2). It is always best practice to select 'Dry Run' (3) before you submit as it will do a test for you and show how many items are affected by your filters. Check 'All non-historical docs and records.

Select the Doc Class to be searched and then the Doc Type.

You can further search the items by owner(s) of the items to break it down further.

To break the search down even further you can select DEG's that may exist in the items you wish to transfer. Based on the filters you have selected, clicking 'Compute Estimate' will show how many documents will be affected if you have selected Dry Run.

Submitting your Utility

If you are happy with the estimate from the dry run you can deselect 'Dry Run' and submit your Utility to change the items in your search. If you are not ready then select Save and Exit. The system will remind you when this is due based on the date you set in the form.

To change doc types for example create a new utility. Explicit means you will use the associated items picker to select 1 or more specific documents. For all other steps in the form, follow the example above. Only explicit fields will be shown in the following slides

To ensure that you will be able to pick specific documents, check 'associated items'. It is advisable again to check dry run.

Select 'Managed Associated Items' in order to select specific doc types.

Pick the document(s) that needs to be changed and click on 'Add Selected Items'.

You will see the document(s) selected in the associated items section. Hit chevron to proceed
