How to change a Minitab user name

This article will walk you though making a change to a Minitab user name.  This will be necessary for Minitab users whenever their company email address changes.  The article is split into 2 sections.  First it will walk you through removing the old username, and second - creating the new one.

1. Removing the old user name

1.1. My Apps

  1. Open Myapps and click on the Minitab Icon to sign in

  1. Click "Minitab Statistical Software" in the "My Products" section

1.3. Manage the Minitab Product

  1. Click Manage to open the Minitab License Portal

1.4. Manage Subscription

  1. Scroll down to the "Manage Users Section"

  1. Use the search box on the right side of the "Manage Users" section to search for the user name to be removed
  2. Click "Options" next to the user name

1.6. Remove the User

Click "Remove from Subscription" to delete the user account

2. Creating the New Account

  1. Navigate to the "Manage Subscription" section as shown in Section 1.5 of this article
  2. Click "Add Users"

2.1. Add Users

  1. Enter the users new email address in the box as shown
  2. Select "User" under "Product Roles"
  3. Make an appropriate Language Preference if desired
  4. Click "Add Users" when complete

2.2. Confirmation

A confirmation message will appear on the screen when complete
